Did you get any error messages after entering the IP address? It indicates you have provided the wrong gateway IP.

Check the label presented on the router’s back to find out the IP address. Sagemcom assigned 192.168.1.1 in most of the routers. But, this might vary from one home Wi-Fi router to another. This is why you should check the device’s gateway IP beforehand.

How to Check the Sagemcom Router’s Gateway IP?

There are other ways to locate the wireless router’s internal IP address. Did you connect the router to a Windows 10/11 device? Tap on the Wi-Fi name, and click the “i” icon to open the network’s properties window. Head towards the “IPv4 DNS server” section to find out the router’s gateway IP.

Enabling this Sagemcom router privacy feature is pretty easy. Open a web browser, go to the URL bar and write the device’s local gateway IP. Press “Enter” to access the Sagemcom router’s login page. Enter the default login information, and hit the Enter button.

Head to the “Advanced Setup” section when the setup page appears. Tap on “Access Control” and move towards the “Parental Control” section.  Go for the “Internet access control planning” option, and after that, choose “All devices”.

Alternatively, you can choose “Selected device” to block internet access to limited devices. Go to the “Gateway Time” section to set the block time. Moreover, you can choose a specific date to block the devices. Select “Apply”, close the setup page and restart the Sagemcom router.

Other Ways to Block a device on a Sagemcom Router
