If you can’t access the internet connection at any cost over your router, but one or multiple indicators are blinking green, there is some glitch.

Wait for a While
If you notice the Sagemcom router blinking green scenario for the first time, you should wait. Additionally, if it hasn’t been more than 30 minutes, then waiting for the light to be solid is a better idea.
Turning off the router can interrupt the data transmission process, and consequently, it might harm the router’s working mechanism. Therefore, wait a little longer before you make your next move.
Restart the Router
If the Sagemcom router blinking green issue doesn’t seem to be diminished on its own, then you need to restart the router. Remove all the USB devices from your Sagemcom router. If you suddenly turn off the router, then it can create a power surge.
As a result, all the data stored in the USB device can be lost forever. Hence, eject the USB device and turn off the Sagemcom router using the Power On/Off button. Next, you have to disconnect the power cable from the power outlet.
Let your router rest for at least 30 seconds to 1 minute. Plugin the power cable back to the electrical outlet and turn on the device. Notice if the indicators are solid green and you can access the internet connection.
Restart the Entire Network
Indicators on the Sagemcom router can blink green when the router is trying to establish a successful internet connection. However, glitches in the modem can also result in the Sagemcom router blinking green instances.
But, a quick restart to the entire network component can easily resolve the issue. Here’s what you need to follow:
- Turn off the Sagemcom router and the modem.
- Unplug their power cable from the electrical outlet. Keep this for 1 to 2 minutes.
- If your modem comes with batteries, remove them.
- After 2 minutes, you can put batteries back in your modem.
- Otherwise, plug the modem’s power cable back into the power outlet. Do the same with your Sagemcom router.
- Now, you have to turn on the modem first. Let the modem re-establish its connection. After that, you can turn on the router.
It might take some time to gain access to the internet connection. Connect your device to your router and notice if you can browse the internet. Additionally, the indicators on the Sagemcom router should not blink green anymore.
Connect Your Devices Directly
The Wireless or WAN indicator keeps blinking green when there’s traffic. And, you might be unable to connect more devices to the router. You can directly connect your device to the modem to solve this problem.
If your modem doesn’t support such facilities or doesn’t come with multiple ethernet ports, then you can contact your Internet Service Provider
Check the Connections
Even though the Sagemcom router is blinking green, you have to double-check the contacts to escape the network issues. The connection between the router and the modem should be tight enough.
Additionally, you should notice the connections between the modem and the wall cable or phone cable. There should be no corrosion as well. If you find anything wrong, then you have to replace the cable or connections.
