Check the ethernet cable and the power connection. Connect the device with the right network name immediately. And, then open the Firefox browser, and head to the “Tools” section. Click the “Advanced” option, choose “Encryption”, and check the two “SSL certificate ” boxes.

Select the “View Certificates” option and move towards the “Authorities” tab. Locate the Linksys Certificate” option of the Cisco model and click “Delete”. Go to the “Server” tab and search for the certificate; double-click to remove it. And, then choose “OK” and re-access the web interface.

Now, check if the Linksys router certificate error persists. If the error message pops up, select “Add Extension” to add a new Linksys certificate. You can now use the web interface from Firefox without any issues.
